Near-, mid- and far-infrared wavelengths work together to create a broader, more layered heat experience than far infrared alone.

Near infrared feels immediate and direct, mid infrared broadens the warming range, while far infrared provides gentler, sustained warmth around the body.

Together, these wavelengths support post-workout recovery, muscle relaxation, joint comfort and the body’s natural response to heat. Targeted warmth around the knees also helps create more balanced coverage between the upper and lower body.

01 · Post-Workout Recovery & Muscle Soreness

After training, full spectrum infrared warmth creates a deliberate transition from physical effort into rest.

Research into post-exercise infrared sauna use has observed reduced perceived muscle soreness, an improved sense of recovery and less decline in explosive performance when compared with passive rest.

Sauna can therefore form a considered part of a broader recovery routine alongside hydration, nutrition, mobility work and adequate sleep.

02 · Muscle Relaxation, Joint & Knee Comfort

Sustained heat can help tired muscles gradually release tension while making the areas surrounding the joints feel warmer and more comfortable.

Some people become more aware of joint stiffness or discomfort during colder or damp coastal weather. Individual responses vary, but enveloping heat can provide a welcome sense of comfort and help the body settle more naturally into rest.

Targeted full spectrum heating at knee level extends direct warmth towards an area that naturally sits further away from the primary source. This helps the knees and surrounding muscles feel warmer, more at ease and more relaxed while providing more complete lower-body coverage.

03 · A Natural Circulatory Response to Heat

As the body warms, blood vessels near the skin naturally widen, heart rate may increase and blood flow changes as part of normal temperature regulation.

This response helps distribute heat throughout the body and release excess warmth through the skin.

Infrared sauna is not a replacement for exercise or medical cardiovascular care. It provides passive heat exposure that can complement an active, balanced lifestyle.

04 · Responsive Warmth at a More Moderate Air Temperature

Infrared energy creates warmth without relying solely on extremely hot surrounding air.

Full spectrum heating tubes respond quickly and direct heat towards the seated position, while the cabin operates at a more moderate air temperature than a traditional high-temperature sauna.

For people who find very hot air difficult to tolerate, this can make sauna feel more approachable while still providing sustained, whole-body warmth.

05 · Relaxation & Mental Reset

Recovery is not only physical.

Warmth, privacy and uninterrupted time create a natural opportunity to step away from screens, notifications and the pace of the day.

As the body settles, the sauna encourages a slower rhythm—providing space to breathe, reflect and move more intentionally from training or work into rest.

06 · Natural Sweating & Heat Adaptation

As body temperature rises, sweating begins naturally to help regulate heat.

With regular use, the body may become more familiar with responding to a warm environment, allowing sessions to feel more manageable over time.

Sweating should be understood as part of normal temperature regulation rather than a proven method of removing toxins. Water and electrolytes lost through perspiration should be replaced after each session.

07 · A Recovery Ritual That Is Easier to Maintain

The value of any wellness practice depends partly on whether it can become a consistent part of everyday life.

Having a full spectrum infrared sauna at home removes the need to travel, wait for shared facilities or fit recovery into a limited gym schedule.

It creates a dedicated place where training, warmth and rest become connected parts of the same routine—allowing deeper recovery to continue beyond the gym.

01 · Shared Recovery, Designed for Three

Recovery is often treated as an individual routine, but it can also become meaningful time shared with the people closest to you.

Gli 1500 was developed for partners, family members or training companions who want to move from physical effort into rest together at home.

It accommodates up to three people while giving one or two users more room to relax and adjust their position. After exercise, work or a demanding day, everyone can settle in without the cabin feeling crowded.

We did not simply lengthen the bench and add another seat. The bench, three ergonomic seating positions, seven-tube heating layout and full-width glazing were developed together as one shared recovery environment.

02 · Space for Three, Freedom When Used by Fewer

Gli 1500 occupies 1500 × 1200 mm of floor space—1.8 m²—providing meaningful room for three while keeping its proportions practical for a home wellness area.

A single bench incorporates three ergonomic seating positions. When used by one or two people, its additional length provides more freedom to adjust posture or leave space between users.

The 1890 mm internal clear height provides natural clearance when entering, turning and sitting down. Together with the wider bench, this vertical proportion helps the shared interior feel comfortable and balanced rather than compressed.

Additional full spectrum tubes positioned around and beneath the bench extend warmth towards the knee area and backs of the calves. This broader distribution helps the lower body feel warmer and more relaxed while creating more balanced coverage between the upper and lower body.

03 · Full Spectrum Warmth That Extends Through the Lower Body

With three people seated across a wider bench, the heating layout needed to distribute warmth across a broader area rather than concentrating it around one position.

Gli 1500 uses seven responsive full spectrum quartz heating tubes—five 300 W tubes and two 750 W tubes—with a combined output of 3.0 kW.

Near-, mid- and far-infrared wavelengths create warmth that feels immediate, sustained and layered. Alongside the primary back heating, additional lower-body tubes—including tubes positioned beneath the bench—extend warmth towards the knees and backs of the calves.

This broader coverage is especially valuable after running, cycling, strength training or spending extended time on the feet, when the legs and surrounding muscles may feel tight and fatigued.

The objective was not simply more power, but more purposeful distribution across the back and lower body within a wider shared interior.

04 · Why We Chose Siberian White Pine

Within a three-person sauna, timber forms a substantial part of the shared visual environment. Its colour, grain and surface character directly influence how the wider interior feels.

Gli 1500 uses clear-grade, knot-free Siberian white pine, selected for its pale cream and soft golden tones and relatively fine, even grain.

Heat treatment introduces subtle honey and light caramel undertones while helping reduce moisture absorption and improve dimensional stability through repeated heating and cooling. This supports more consistent alignment across the wider timber spans of the cabin.

Under the amber glow of the heating tubes and integrated lighting, the wood develops a richer tone without making the interior feel dark or visually heavy.

The material softens the technical presence of the seven heating tubes and gives Gli 1500 a warmer, more natural and furniture-like place within the home.

05 · Full-Width Glazing That Opens the Shared Interior

As a sauna becomes wider, a predominantly solid-timber frontage can make it feel heavier and more enclosed within the room.

Gli 1500 therefore combines a central glass door with fixed glass side panels on both sides, creating a full-width transparent frontage.

All three sections use 6 mm tempered glass, allowing light and views to continue across the wider cabin. A transparent safety film helps hold fragments together and reduce scattering in the unlikely event of breakage while preserving the clarity of the glass.

The balanced three-part frontage gives the wider façade visual order while revealing the ergonomic seating and considered heating layout within.

Together with the warm, heat-treated timber, it allows Gli 1500 to feel connected to the room rather than like a large, enclosed piece of recovery equipment.

06 · Shared Technology, Quietly Integrated

The full spectrum heating tubes remain visible because their placement across the back and lower body is central to the design. Other functions are integrated more quietly.

Concealed 7-colour LED chromotherapy lighting extends across the wider cabin, while integrated reading lights provide focused illumination. Fully concealed Bluetooth audio fills the interior with music, podcasts or calming sound without visible speakers.

The digital control panel brings the time, temperature, infrared wavelength and lighting settings together in one clearly arranged interface. The PureAir oxygen ioniser and master power switch are also positioned for straightforward operation.

Our Snap-Lock assembly system allows Gli 1500 to be carried through the home in manageable panels and assembled in its intended location without permanent built-in construction. Once assembled, it operates through a 15 A plug and requires a suitable 15 A outlet.

From the three ergonomic seating positions and seven-tube heating layout to the full-width glazing and extended lower-body warmth, every decision supports one purpose: creating a more generous place for recovery to be shared at home.

Designed around three people. One shared place for deeper recovery at home.

For residential use, Gli 1500 is supported by a 5-year structural warranty, a 5-year warranty on heating components and a 3-year warranty on other components.
