It gives customers the freedom to begin with ice, connect an existing compatible Chiller or add a complete temperature-controlled system later.

That flexibility shaped every decision that followed.

01 · Why We Made the Tub Available Separately

Not every customer wants to begin in the same way.

Some already own a compatible Chiller. Some prefer the simplicity of using ice, while others want to select their temperature-control system separately or add one later.

Used with ice, IB 1100 Tub Only provides a spacious personal cold-water immersion experience. When paired with a compatible 0.6 HP or 1.0 HP Chiller, it can add automatic cooling, heating, circulation and filtration.

The Tub itself requires no electrical connection, giving customers the freedom to begin with the setup that suits their space, routine and budget.

Flexibility was built into the Tub Only option from the beginning.

02 · Why the Wider Circular Form Follows the Experience

A one-person immersion Tub should feel personal without feeling confined.

The circular form creates a balanced space around the body, allowing the water to surround the immersed areas naturally while keeping everything comfortably within reach.

With a diameter of 1100 mm and an approximate Tub footprint of 0.95 m², IB 1100 provides a wider and more open immersion area while remaining suited to gardens, courtyards and indoor wellness spaces.

The integrated seat positioned at 250 mm provides a comfortable place to settle into the water without requiring a separate internal seat.

The wider circular form was selected to create a more spacious personal experience from the moment you enter the water and settle into position.

03 · Why We Chose a Sculpted Acrylic Inner Tub

The material that surrounds the body shapes how the immersion experience feels.

The distinctive Elephant Grey acrylic surface feels warmer and softer to the touch than stainless steel, creating a gentler point of contact when entering and settling into the water.

Its smooth, one-piece moulded structure is reinforced with fibreglass, while the sculpted form creates gentle curves around the integrated seat. Double-layer insulation helps limit unnecessary temperature changes.

Outside, heat-treated, knot-free walnut brings natural warmth and a furniture-like finish, while precisely finished wood-joint detailing reinforces the craftsmanship of the exterior.

Together, the Elephant Grey acrylic interior and walnut exterior give IB 1100 a calm, refined presence designed to feel at home within its surroundings.

04 · Why Simplicity Had to Continue Between Sessions

The ownership experience continues after you step out of the water.

The complimentary insulated Tub lid helps shield the water surface from debris and limit unnecessary temperature changes between sessions.

Heavy-duty fittings support compatible water connections, while the purpose-designed drainage adaptor connects the Tub outlet to a standard Australian garden hose.

This makes it easier to direct used water towards a suitable drainage location or reuse it where appropriate and permitted.

Preparation, immersion and drainage were all considered as parts of the same experience.
