Built Around a More Relaxed Way to Recover

IB 1700 began with feedback from customers who wanted more than a conventional upright ice bath.

They wanted a cold and warm immersion experience that supported a more relaxed body position, while bringing a distinctive piece of design into the garden rather than another piece of exposed recovery equipment.

That idea shaped every decision that followed.

01 · Why the Reclining Form Changes the Experience

A personal immersion Tub does not always need to position the body upright.

The elongated 1700 mm form supports a more natural reclining position, allowing the body to settle back while remaining comfortably immersed.

Its sculpted interior follows the body with gentle curves, creating support through the seated and reclining areas without requiring a separate internal seat.

With dimensions of 1700 × 750 × 700 mm and an approximate Tub footprint of 1.28 m², IB 1700 provides a spacious personal immersion experience while maintaining proportions suited to gardens, poolside areas and indoor wellness spaces.

The reclining form was designed to make both invigorating cold plunges and gentler warm soaks feel calm, comfortable and unhurried.

02 · Why the Water Had to Be Ready, Not Prepared

A personal recovery routine becomes harder to maintain when every session begins with buying, storing and carrying bags of ice.

IB 1700 replaces repeated preparation with a dedicated Chiller that automatically cools, heats, circulates, filters and maintains the water.

Temperature can be selected using the controls on the Chiller or through the compatible app, allowing the water to be prepared around your schedule.

Whether used for cold-water recovery or a warm soak, the experience becomes easier to begin, easier to repeat and ready when you are.

03 · Why We Designed Two Levels of Performance

Not every personal wellness routine has the same performance requirements.

The 0.6 HP Chiller provides cooling and heating from 3°C to 42°C with a strong balance of everyday performance and running cost.

For customers seeking faster temperature changes and more advanced water care, the 1.0 HP Chiller adds four-stage filtration and integrated ozone treatment.

Both options provide on-unit and compatible app control, allowing customers to choose the level of performance that best suits their routine and how quickly they want the water prepared.

04 · Why the Technical Equipment Had to Disappear

The Chiller makes the system work, but we did not want it to define how IB 1700 looks within the home.

The matching ventilated Zen Step provides easier access to the Tub while integrating and concealing the selected Chiller within the overall design.

The standard Zen Step is matched to the 0.6 HP Chiller, while the larger Zen Step L accommodates the 1.0 HP Chiller. Both continue the same walnut finish as the Tub.

The Step became the connection between easier access, Chiller ventilation and a clean, unified appearance.

Instead of seeing a Tub, a machine and a separate Step, you see one complete home immersion system.

05 · Why It Had to Bring Something Different to the Garden

Customers told us they wanted wellness equipment that felt considered within the garden, not something that looked purely technical.

The elongated profile and gently angled exterior give IB 1700 a distinctive sculptural character, while heat-treated, knot-free walnut brings natural warmth and the presence of outdoor furniture.

Inside, the Elephant Grey one-piece acrylic Tub creates a calm, contemporary contrast with the walnut exterior. Its smooth surface feels warmer and softer to the touch than stainless steel, while the fibreglass-reinforced structure provides lasting support.

Double-layer insulation helps limit unnecessary temperature changes, while precisely finished wood-joint detailing reinforces the craftsmanship of the complete design.

The result is a functional cold and warm immersion system designed to become part of the garden rather than simply occupy it.

06 · Why Simplicity Had to Continue Between Sessions

The ownership experience continues after you step out of the water.

Integrated circulation and filtration help manage the water between sessions, while the complimentary insulated Tub lid helps shield the water surface from debris and limit unnecessary temperature changes.

When the water needs to be changed, the purpose-designed drainage adaptor connects the Tub outlet to a standard Australian garden hose, making it easier to direct the water towards a suitable drainage location or reuse it where appropriate and permitted.

Preparation, immersion, water care and drainage were designed as parts of one continuous experience.

The result is a complete home immersion system built around one person, a more relaxed reclining position and a distinctive design for the garden.
