Far infrared sauna can encourage sustained whole-body perspiration even while operating at a lower air temperature than traditional sauna.

The strongest longevity evidence currently comes from traditional Finnish sauna rather than far infrared sauna specifically, and these studies show association rather than proving that sauna itself extends lifespan. However, far infrared sauna shares many of the characteristics that make passive heat exposure compelling—including whole-body warming, cardiovascular response, circulation, sweating, relaxation and recovery.

01 · One Shared Space for Two

Vine 1200 marks the point where a private sauna becomes a shared experience.

It was developed for partners or family members who want to slow down together, talk quietly or simply enjoy far infrared warmth within the same space.

We did not want it to feel like two individual seats placed beside each other. The bench, glazing and heating layout were considered as one continuous two-person environment from the beginning.

Each person has a comfortable position, while the interior remains visually and spatially connected.

02 · Comfort for Two Without an Oversized Exterior

We designed Vine 1200 from two seated positions outwards.

The width of the bench, the 1890 mm internal clear height and the surrounding heating zones were considered first. The cabin was then shaped closely around this usable interior, giving two people meaningful room without unnecessary bulk.

The glass door and fixed glass side panel extend the view across the front, helping the shared interior feel more open.

From outside, the proportions remain restrained. From within, the cabin feels more generous than its exterior dimensions suggest.

03 · Structured at the Front, Continuous Within

The vertical line between the glass door and fixed glass side panel brings order and proportion to the wider façade without dividing the interior into separate compartments.

Behind the glass, the bench remains continuous. Horizontal timber slats extend across both seating positions, bringing the interior together as one composition.

The relationship is deliberate: the front glazing organises the width, while the bench and horizontal timber lines preserve a shared sense of space.

This allows Vine 1200 to feel structured from the outside and relaxed from within.

04 · Heat Balanced Across Two Bodies

A balanced two-person experience depends on a heating layout developed around both seated positions from the outset.

The Nano-Carbon panels are distributed around both seating positions, providing considered warmth across the back, sides and lower body rather than concentrating heat in the middle of the bench.

Because the heating surfaces surround both seated positions at close range, we selected an ultra-low EMF system measuring just 0–0.3 mG.

Designed to offer up to five times the lifespan of conventional mica heating panels, the Nano-Carbon system also supports dependable long-term use for households making sauna part of a regular routine together.

05 · A Shared Atmosphere, Quietly Integrated

We wanted Vine 1200 to offer the functions expected from a modern infrared sauna without allowing technology to dominate the shared interior.

Concealed 7-colour LED chromotherapy lighting extends across the wider cabin, bringing both seating positions into the same atmosphere. Integrated reading lights provide focused illumination without adding exposed fixtures.

Bluetooth audio is fully concealed, allowing music, podcasts or calming sound to fill the cabin without visible speakers interrupting the timber interior.

Behind the timber slats, continuous black mesh visually brings the individual heating zones together. The same principle of simplicity extends to installation: Snap-Lock panel construction allows the cabin to be transported through the home in manageable sections and assembled in its intended location.

Vine 1200 is not simply a wider one-person sauna. It is one calm, shared environment designed specifically around two people.

For residential use, Vine 1200 is supported by a 5-year structural warranty, a 5-year warranty on heating components and a 3-year warranty on other components.
