01 · Why We Made the Tub Available Separately

Not every customer wants to begin in the same way.

Some already own a compatible Chiller. Some prefer the simplicity of using ice, while others want to select their temperature-control system separately or add one later.

Used with ice, IB 1400 Tub Only provides a dedicated cold-water immersion experience for two. When paired with a compatible 0.6 HP or 1.0 HP Chiller, it can add automatic cooling, heating, circulation and filtration.

The Tub itself requires no electrical connection, giving customers the freedom to begin with the setup that suits their space, routine and budget.

Flexibility was built into the Tub Only option from the beginning.

02 · Why Face-to-Face Seating Changed the Tub

Designing for two required more than simply increasing the size of a one-person Tub.

The face-to-face layout gives each person a defined place within the water while creating a natural setting for conversation, encouragement or a quiet moment together.

Integrated seating positioned at 300 mm supports a stable, upright immersion position without requiring separate internal seats.

The 1400 mm width creates comfortable space for two people, while the 750 mm depth helps maintain a balanced footprint for gardens, courtyards and indoor wellness spaces.

When used individually, the same layout provides a more open and spacious immersion experience.

Every proportion was shaped around how two people enter, sit and recover together, not simply around how many people the Tub can hold.

03 · Why It Had to Feel Natural in the Home

A two-person ice bath is visible within its surroundings for far longer than each individual immersion session lasts.

The balanced, rounded form gives IB 1400 a sculptural presence, while heat-treated, knot-free walnut brings natural warmth and a furniture-like finish.

Precisely finished wood-joint detailing reinforces the craftsmanship of the exterior.

Inside, the smooth 1.5 mm stainless-steel inner tub creates a substantial shared immersion area, while double-layer insulation helps limit unnecessary temperature changes.

The result is a dedicated two-person immersion Tub designed to feel like a lasting part of the space rather than a temporary container placed within it.

04 · Why Simplicity Had to Continue Between Sessions

The ownership experience continues after you step out of the water.

The complimentary insulated Tub lid helps shield the water surface from debris and limit unnecessary temperature changes between sessions.

Heavy-duty fittings support compatible water connections, while the purpose-designed drainage adaptor connects the Tub outlet to a standard Australian garden hose.

This makes it easier to direct used water towards a suitable drainage location or reuse it where appropriate and permitted, bringing greater control to the complete routine.

Preparation, shared immersion and drainage were all considered as parts of the same experience.
